Yeah, it's true - the long awaited album is about to be launched! Friday 19 September '08 at Tanz Café in Bryanston. After waiting so long for it, why on earth would you miss the launch :) Please have a look at the event on our calender page for further details. See you there!!

2nd Album - 30 July 2008

Oh my!!...it's been far too long. For many reasons, things have been happening pretty slowly on our side. But we're stoked to let you guys know that our 2nd album, which we finished recording a while ago, is finally going to be released! We going to be rocking an album launch at Tanz Café on the 19th September. Make sure you get there - and bring your friends!! CD's will be on sale :)

Pre-launch gig - 11 October 2007

Hey, we'll be playing on Sunday at "Sunday Sessions" at Bryanston BIble Church on the 21st October. We'll be bashing out some of the tunes off the new album which we're super amped for. There will also be an opportunity to place an order for the new album. See you there!

Breaking News!! - 28 August 2007

The recording is finished!!!!
9 months later, we put the final vocal down tonight. Thanks for all your patience. It now goes to mix and master and pressing and packaging, but the end is in sight.

Take the freaking thing home already!!! - 20 August 2007

This album has taken pretty long, and we so appreciate your patience. Here is an update:
There are two vocals still to be recorded. After that it is mix and mastering and then it is ready to be pressed. We are busy in the process of putting the sleeve together, and organizing track listings and all those good things.
Hang in there guys. I promise that it will be worth it!!!

Cheers to G! - 20 August 2007

Most of you know that our keys player Gareth left the band and the country in one foul swoop. We were super sad to see him go, but we wish him well in his new adventure. We were stoked to hear that his wedding went really well, and we were really bummed that we couldn't be there. Go well G! Konichiwa.

Still Alive! - 11 May 2007

Hey!

Our apologies for the significant lack of contact with you all. Its crazy how, without any warning, life so quickly gets out of control! It has been a seriously busy time in each of our lives, but through it all we have continued chipping away at the album. It's just going a little slower than any of us would've liked but its taking shape!

Just to fill you in...the rest of the tunes are sounding really kiff and we seriously can't wait to get it out there!

Please pray for us as we continue to set aside time from our jobs and studies to finish this album off. Thk to all of you for your continued prayer and support!

Woohoo!! - 16 March 2007

We have just received our first two tracks back from New York where they were mastered! We've put them up on: www.myspace.com/foundbandza. Go have a listen and let us know what you think. Also tell us which one you think would make a better single. Enjoy!!

Will they ever finish? - 21 February 2007

We know you guys are tired of hearing about the fact that we are nearly finished. But we are! We will be sending two singles off to be mastered in New York next week. We are super excited about all of the new songs. There will be two examples on myspace next week. Check it out.

Playing on Friday. - 21 February 2007

Hey There. We will be playing on Friday night at Lonehill Methodist. It will probably be the last time that people will see Found perform as a traditional "worship" act, even though we hate and reject that terminoligy. It should be an absolute blast. We will also be playing two songs off the new album. Don't miss it.

Getting there. - 23 January 2007

Hey Guys. Well we are nearing the end of the recording process. We just have vocals and a little bit of percussion to do. Then it is mix, and then off to New York to be mastered by our friend Mike Fossenkemper. Looks like we should be out in March or April sometime. In the meanwhile, watch out for our debut single, which will be out soon.

Brace yourselves. - 19 December 2006

Well, it is only fair to warn you guys that this album will be a dramatic departure in style and tone from Eternity. We have been really experimental in the way we write and record, and have probably been more true to ourselves in the kind of songs that we have put down. We really hope that you guys like the new approach, but also that it opens up many more doors to many more fans. We are cruising with guitars and keys, and the stuff sounds incredible. Catch ya all later.

Not gonna be finished. - 18 December 2006

Hey there. It is becoming abundantly clear that we wont be done before Chrsitmas. We will push as hard as we can till saturday and then finish in the new year. Looks like we will be have a product at the end of Feb. It is sounding flipping awesome at the moment. We played some golf again this morning, and it was awesome. Ryan kicked our butts. Fair and square. Well played brother.

Bring in the guitars... - 14 December 2006

We have started laying the guitars today. It is the most ambitious we have ever been, with six mics picking up the amp. We are doubling everything with a second virtual amp as well. We are looking forward to good results. We will post an update and some picks later.

Drums done!!!! - 13 December 2006

The drum tracks for all 16 tracks are done. They sound awesome!!! We start guitar tomorrow. Pretty freaking awesome.

New songs and ham sandwiches. - 12 December 2006

Hey all. We are still making good progress with drum tracks. We thought that you guys might be getting pretty bored with the same style of updates all the time, so maybe it's time for a change of tone. Yesterday we had ham sarmies for lunch. They were very tasty. Today we are looking forward to some lean turkey breasts on brown rolls...mmmm. Clearly Drew did the shopping. Thought you guys might like to know that we added four songs to the album pool. They were old songs that Andrew had written and pretty much discarded years ago, but they fit the tone of the album perfectly, and we cant wait to get stuck into them. Catch u guys later. I better go and do some work. Ross.

Breaking news. - 8 December 2006

The end of day 3 and the boys are tired. Another three tracks down, and we are spot on schedule.
We are also in the process of disciplining Drew for a rather nasty incident this morning. During a sunrise round of golf at Parkview golf course, Drew was fairly digusted at a horrible putt, and saw fit to break his putter in half. Watch this space for photos of the club and video footage of the now very sorry Drew!

Day 3. - 7 December 2006

We are cruising! There are three complete drum tracks down. We are hoping to get another few down today. We were pleased to hear that Pieter is feeling much much better. He puked up a small country.
Please check out www.myspace.com/foundbandza for the latest photos and updates. You can also send us messages in our latest blogs. Catch ya all later. Ross.

Day 1. - 7 December 2006

Our first day was used mainly for setting up kit and then just working on getting good sounds. We also started playing with some ideas for our first tune.

Our electric guitarist, Pieter, was hospitilised with suspected food poisoning, which made for a dramatic afternoon. We wish him all the best and hope to see him back here within the next day or two.

Let the games begin. - 6 December 2006

We have started recording the album. Awesome. We have spent the morning setting up drums, as we are going to record those first. Come back later today and check out photo's of the setup and with any luck, the first drum takes. Later guys.
